Charming Bennethum, 100, of Marshalltown, IA passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Glenwood Place in Marshalltown under the care of Care Initiatives Hospice. Cremation rights have been accorded by Anderson Funeral Homes of Marshalltown. There are no services planned at this time. condolences may be sent to www.andersonfhs.com. Charming was born December 2, 1920 to Phillip and Mildred (Halstead) Thomas in Grinnell, Iowa. She graduated from Ferguson High School in 1936. Charming was united in marriage to Marshall "Buss" Fuller in 1938. They were blessed with three wonderful children Judy, Sandi, and Jim. In 1957 Charming was remarried to Ivyl Bennethum where they lived in Loves Park, IL until they retired. After retiring they then moved to Koshkonong, MO eventually moving back to Marshalltown in 1989. Charming was a homemaker for the majority of her life. She loved making pottery, cooking, walking, and just being outside in general. She was preceded in death by her husband; Ivyl, son; Jim Fuller, and six siblings.
