Brunilda Jimenez
Brunilda Jimenez, nickname "Bruny", 74, passed away on April 27, 2021. A feisty, festive woman, Bruny was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico on March 18, 1947. She met her husband Bobby in New York City in 1967 and they quickly fell in love. Bruny and Bobby moved to Arizona in 1976 where they would make a life for themselves with their three children. Bruny loved Arizona, but Puerto Rico always had her heart. Bruny enjoyed watching football (especially ASU), playing bingo and was always sipping on a beer dancing around her home. She was the life of the party wherever she went. Although she complained about being teased for her kooky antics, she secretly loved the attention and affection showered on her with jokes and fun. Her laughter will be sorely missed by all that loved her. Brunilda is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Jimenez and Alayna Jimenez Robbins, and her six beautiful grandchildren, Anna, Isabel, Audrey, Jameson, Bennett & Evelyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby J, and her son, Jeffrey Jimenez. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11am at Paradise Memorial Gardens.
