Jeanette Ann Clouse

Jeanette Ann Clouse, age 90, formerly of Tremont, Illinois, died on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 10:34 pm at Good Samaritan Home in Quincy, Illinois. Jeanette was born December 18, 1930 in Mackinaw, Illinois, the daughter of Earnest Henry and Mary Ann Israel Moore. She married Darrell Clouse on August 30, 1947 in Hopedale, IL. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2008. Jeanette was a homemaker and assisted Darrell in the operation of Clouse Sand and Gravel and the family farm. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, cards, and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a genuine concern for others and will be missed by many. Survivors include two daughters, Julie (Kevin) McVeigh of Taylor, MO, and Amy (Harry) Hulbert of Quincy, IL; 5 grandchildren, Kaylee and Jenna McVeigh, SPC Jason Starnes, US Army, and Shelby and Jared Starnes. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Earnest "Verdell" Moore, and a sister, Joanna Shonk.
