Karen Lee Laubert

Karen L. Laubert, age 75 passed away peacefully surrounded by her twelve children on May 22, 2021. Karen was born March 2, 1946 in Boulder, Colorado. She was the daughter of the late Robert Murphy and Phyllis Powell. Karen was a graduate of Ravenna High School in Ravenna Ohio. She turned her exquisite needlework passion into opening her own business The Linen Sampler, that she enjoyed for many years before relocating to Michigan. Her true passion in life was raising her twelve children and watching her 30 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren grow. Karen is survived by her brother Robert (Bonnie) Murphy and her twelve children Melissa (Scott) Wagoner, Amy (Robert) Marino, Kenneth Laubert, Kristina (Anthony) LaRock, Brian (Kimberly) Laubert, Matthew (Katherine) Laubert, Amanda (Don) Paterson, Jennifer Korn, Michael (Lindsay) Laubert, Jeffrey (Michelle) Laubert, Mark (Brook) Laubert, Ashley (Jeremy) Coates and her beloved dog Sophie. The family would like to thank the warm and caring staff at Orchard Grove Health Campus for all the ways they loved and cared for our mom for the last 3 years.
