Javier Rojo, a native of Laredo, TX, and resident of Austin for 30 plus years passed peacefully May 25, 2021.
Javier graduated from Nixon High School in 1976, attended Laredo Junior College and the University of Texas. He joined the US Navy in 1987 and was last stationed in Charleston, SC.
An avid sports fan Javier could be found enjoying multiple games at the same time. Oftentimes during football season, he would have two televisions with different games on and his laptop screening a third game. He was almost always wearing sports paraphernalia sporting the team he was supporting. He most enjoyed watching any sport related to the Texas Longhorns.
Javier is survived by his mother, Eloisa Luna of Laredo, TX, his brother Victor C. Rojo Jr, (Monica) of Kyle, TX, Uncle Mario Luna (Dolores) from Las Cruces, NM to extended family members throughout the great state of TX to others in New Mexico, Illinois, California, and Washington State.[more]
