BEVERLY HOWARD MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Beverly J. Howard, 64, of Muscatine, died Friday, February 2, 2007, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at the Faith United Church of Christ, 3307 Mulberry Avenue. Reverend Teressa Clark of the Faith United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Mount Pleasant. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2007, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice Home in Bettendorf. Beverly was born on May 28, 1942, in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of John S. and Frances Foster Brown and was raised in Olds. She was united in marriage to Jerry D. Howard on December 30, 1962, in Olds. She is a member of Faith United Church of Christ. She graduated from Olds High School in 1960. She was the Iowa Pork Queen in 1962. She attended the University of Iowa and graduated from the American Institute of Business in Des Moines. Administrative Assistant. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren, was an avid reader, loved classical music, and was a great lover of animals. Survivors include her husband, Jerry D. Howard of Muscatine; one son, Trevor J. Howard and wife, Mindy, of Leawood, Kansas; one daughter, Nikki M. Dorr and husband, Marc, of Eldridge; four grandchildren, Carter, twins, Reagan and Luke, and Blake; her mother, Frances Brown of Iowa City; and one brother, Ronald D. Brown and wife, Roberta 'Bobbie', of Lexington, Kentucky She was preceded in death by her father and maternal and paternal grandparents.
