MARY WAGNER MUSCATINE, Iowa - Mary Elizabeth Wagner, 86, of Muscatine, died Friday, April 6, 2007, at Muscatine Care Center. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Honorary Bearers will be Tom Fox, Dick Busch, Ray Shellabarger, Crave Hines, and Ray Dietrich. Casketbearers will be Rocky Darting, Jim White, Jim Wester, Scott Mills, Jerry Jones, and Chuck Howard. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2007, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or to the family in care of Dell Wagner. Mary was born on May 7, 1920, in Muscatine County, the daughter of Warren D. and Eve A. Lawrence Fowler. She married George U. Wagner on June 14, 1939, on the Wagner farm. He preceded her in death in 1972. She was a 1938 graduate of Letts High School. She was a former member of the Lady Elks, Women of the Moose, VFW Auxiliary, Muscatine Hospital Auxiliary, and the Salvation Army Auxiliary. She was a current member of AARP.
