plishments was knowing how to love those he led. He allowed God to communicate through him the individual's worth and value. We all know that Mark loved Texas Aggie football. He described his dream job after retirement. "I just want to be that guy that walks along behind Jackie Sherrill, on the sidelines of Kyle Field, and rolls up the cord to his headset." Lachelle cared for Mark during the last four years of his life after a sudden heart attack that left him with a severe brain injury. Mark peacefully lived his remaining years in Houston with his wife and the support of his caregiver team. Countless people have begged the Lord to heal Mark. And so, we know from the very words of God, that in this exact moment, Mark is enjoying his complete healing in the presence of our LORD. Mark was a kind, loving husband and father, devoted soldier, and faithful leader. A special thanks to Mark's sister, Margo, and the compassionate men and women who cared for him at the end of his life. Mark's family and church community will be hosting a memorial service at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 19 at the Austin Stone Northwest Campus in Austin, Texas. His burial will be held on June 30 at 2:30pm at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen" Ephesians 3:20-21
