Sandra K. Reed

Sandra K. Reed, 79, of Knoxville, passed away at 9:51 a.m., on Friday, June 25, 2021, at her home. She was born on November 13, 1941, in Beardstown, to Arthur, Jr., and Leona (Brooks) Kirgan. She was first married to Harold James. He preceded her in death in June 1966. She then married Lloyd "John" Reed on July 23, 1967, in Dahinda. He survives. She is also survived by four children, Teresa (David) Frommelt of Knoxville, Patrick Reed of Meredosia, Rodney (Faunda) Reed of Knoxville, and Barbara (Delbert) Thompson, III, of Oquawka; nine grandchildren, Savannah, Keryn, Brittney, Michael, Johnathan, Candra, Leah, Nathaniel, and Mason; and four great-grandchildren, Nova, Ryli Jo, Willow, and Isaac. She is also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, George "Artie" Kirgan; and one sister, Lila Brock. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at the Knoxville American Legion.
