Bruce Carroll, of Ames, Iowa, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Bruce Allen Carroll, the son of Bob and Ina (Swensen) Carroll, was born December 26, 1953, in Harlan, Iowa. He graduated from Harlan Community High School in 1972. Bruce worked at a variety of jobs. He was a meat cutter, custodian, and cab driver at various times. Bruce also served in the United States Air Force. He later earned an associate degree from Des Moines Area Community College and a bachelor's degree from Rockhurst University.
Bruce is survived by his daughters, Cathy (Chris) Moriarty of Omaha, NE, Carmen (Tyler) Kulig of Bettendorf, and a son, Paddy Carroll of Salem, OR. Bruce is also survived by his significant other for the past 15 years, Ginny Jackson of Ames. Other survivors include his sister Sandra of Harlan; his brother Randy (Paula) of Ames; four grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews and their families.
