Sharon Timmerman Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello. Visitation: Noon-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the funeral home. The family will meet friends from 6-8 p.m. MEDIAPOLIS, Iowa - Sharon Kay Timmerman, 64, of rural Mediapolis, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at her daughter's home in Wapello. The Rev. Paul Hooks will officiate. Burial will follow at the Edwards Cemetery in Oakville. Memorials may be directed to the Wapello VFW and VFW Auxiliary. Mrs. Timmerman was born Aug. 28, 1943, in Morning Sun, the daughter of James Ament and Thelma Marlette Ruble. She married Richard Timmerman on April 3, 1962, in Oquawka, Ill. She graduated from Wapello High School in 1962. She worked at Thatcher Plastics in Muscatine for 19 years and also attended Muscatine Community College, earning an accounting degree. She was a member of the former Church of God in Wapello and attended the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Wapello in recent years. She was a member of the Wapello VFW Auxiliary.
