Barbara Jean Pine

Barbara Jean Pine, age 93, of Quincy, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 9:55 pm in Blessing Hospital. Barbara was born April 21, 1928 in Pittsfield, Illinois, the daughter of Earl and Lilly Rogers Butler. She married Orie Eugene Pine on June 21, 1946 in Biloxi, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2015. Barbara was a graduate of Pittsfield High School in Pittsfield, Illinois. She was employed in her younger years as a child care provider for preschool children. Barbara was a faith filled woman and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a former member of Madison Park Christian Church. Survivors include her son, Rob (Ellen) Pine of Rockwall, TX; five grandchildren, Stacie (Jeff) Smith of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Sara (Todd) Staley of Forney, TX, Stephen (Courtney) Pine of Sunnyvale, TX, Tina (Joe) Heafner of Lee Summit, MO, and Brian (Tara) Dolbeare of Mt.
