Shirley Archdale Canton -E. Shirley Archdale, 73, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at her residence. She was born October 13, 1947 in Dawson Springs, Kentucky to Charles and Grace (Menser) Hook. They preceded her in death. She married Keith Archdale on August 4, 1967 in Canton. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1999. Surviving are her siblings, Carolyn (Larry) Hobbs of Canton, Glenn (Diane) Hook of Dove Canyon, CA, Linda Churchill of Canton, nieces and nephews, Krissi (Chris) Neville of Canton, Jason (Grace) Hobbs of Newport Beach, CA, Jeff (Lori) Hook of Ladera Ranch, CA, Kenny (Lesley) Churchill of Valparaiso IN, Terry Churchill of Canton, Great nieces and nephews, Charlie and Issi Neville, Chloe, Stella and Baron Hobbs, Mathew, Taylor and C.J. Hook, David, Lillie, Rachel Churchill and Nicole Churchill. Also preceding her in death are two brothers, David and Johnnie Lee Hook. Shirley's passion was serving her customers at GM Mechanical in Canton and she loved her GM work family. She won the Canton Area Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year award in 2008. hirley will be forever known for her love of her family, generosity and her willingness to help others. She had a fun and infectious sense of humor. A visitation will be held from 5-8, Friday, August 20, 2021 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton with a funeral service on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11 am at the funeral home.
