Zachary David Young

Zachary David Young was tragically lost on August 17, 2021. He was only 22. Zach was born on Friday July 23rd, 1999, in Austin, Texas. He was our little champ coming into this world at 10 pounds 1 ounce who grew into a more amazing young man than we could have ever dreamed. He was a bright, confident, stubborn, handsome, thoughtful, intelligent, ambitious, honest, resilient, determined, humorous, Star Wars nerd who loved Xbox, cars and cooked amazing wood-fired pizzas. He graduated with honors from Dripping Springs High School where he played football, baseball and met the love of his life, Elaina. He went to Trinity University on an academic scholarship to study neuroscience with plans to go to medical school to become a neurosurgeon. He led a research lab investigating the effects of drugs to help cure addiction and had one article published. Zach was an amazing man with a pure heart and genuine intentions in life to help others.
