He will be deeply missed by fianc�'©, Betty Atwater, of Rock, Island, Illinois; two daughters, Stephanie Miller and Andrea Monroe, both of Muscatine; two grandchildren, Jorre and Briggs; two brothers, Gregory S. Monroe and Jeffrey A. Monroe and wife, Lynda, all of Muscatine; one sister, Eileen Monroe-Wilmington of Springfield, Virginia; nieces and nephews, John Monroe, III, Mark Monroe, Randy Hammerich, Alecia Wilmington, Cassandra Monroe and Nathan Monroe; and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Monroe Jr.
