Mr. Melvin (Hip) Russell, Jr. was born to the late Mr. Melvin Russell, Sr. and Ms. Beulah Mae Russell on April 8, 1943 in Alexander City, Alabama. After 67 years of life and dedicated service to God and family, on October 14, 2010, God saw that he completed his assign ment in life and called him home to eternal rest. He leaves to cherish his precious memories six siblings: Sara Nell Mitchell of Montgomery, AL; Ms. Bula Virginia Edwards of Alexander City, AL; Ms. Bobbie Jo Russell of Alexander City, AL; Ms. Mary Alice Russell of Alexander City, AL; Mr. Gene Dawson (Faye) Russell of Alexander City, AL; Mr. John Frank (Wilhelmenia) Russell of Blythewood, Sc.
