He is survived by his three children, Brenda (Steve) Litwiller of Parnell, Brent (Cindy) Huedepohl of South Amana, and Barry (JoAnn) Huedepohl of Belmond; 8 grandchildren: Jason (Sara) Hocker, Adam (Olivia) Hocker, Olivia (Brad) Curtin, Sara (Cole #1) Easton, Allison (Cole #2) Poffenberger, Haylee (Kacy Snyder) Huedepohl, Kendra Huedepohl and Derek Huedepohl; 9 great-grandchildren: Addesyn, Hudson and Charlie Hocker; Grant, Ava and Ian Hocker; Payton and Dawson Curtin; and Baby Poffenberger due in October; sister-in-law, Lynne Huedepohl of Arlington Heights, IL; and a brother-in-law, Charles Denniston of Williamsburg, his friend and former wife, Bonnie Huedepohl as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Floy; brother Bradley Huedepohl and a sister Marilyn Denniston; sister-in-law Shirley Hewitt Hall; brother-in-law Virgil Hall; brother-in-law Loyal Hewitt, and sister-in-law Barbara Hewitt. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 10:30 am on Monday, September 13, 2021, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. There will be a VFW Service at 6:00 pm on Sunday. A memorial fund has been established for the Williamsburg Kiwanis Scholarship Fund. Due to a recent surge in Covid in Williamsburg, the family prefers that you respectfully wear a mask.
