unting. He was an avid bowler, bowling in both the Men's Major and Senior Leagues. He and Carol enjoyed riding their motorcycle all around the country. He also enjoyed his family and grandchildren, and loved telling stories to the grandchildren. He was also a master woodworker and enjoyed puttering in his garage with his woodworking. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He especially enjoyed his beagle, Zoe. Survivors include his wife, Carol A. Brown of Muscatine; three daughters, Cinda L. Holt of Muscatine, Sally A. Haller and husband, Paul, of Muscatine, and Susan K. Brown and significant other, Scot Bieri, of Letts; five grandchildren, Jessica Holt, Lee Holt and significant other, Leann Hilburn, Cory Haller, Kevin Haller, and Zane Brown Zimmerman; two great-grandchildren, Annah Holt and Melissa Holt; one brother, Fred B. Brown and wife, Janet, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; a sister, Shirley Spence and husband, Chet, of Little York, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John Brown, and one sister, Lenora MertĀ Martin.
