Anna Minnie Stakey

Anna Minne Butterbrodt Stakey, daughter of Henry and Leana Hillman Butterbrodt, was born in Bennett, Iowa on September 7, 1906. She was united in marriage to Gustav Stakey on July 17, 1928, in New Britain, Connecticut. Anna is survived by her daughter, Janice (Ben) Galloway of Harpers Ferry, Iowa; son-in-law, Kenneth Mente of Tipton, Iowa; 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gustav; daughter, Betty Mente; sisters, Ella Thein and Martha Vitense; and granddaughter-in-law, Carol Mente. Memorials may be made to the Tipton Senior Diner in memory of Anna. [more]
