Chris Wilkerson

Chris Wilkerson, 43, of Burlington died Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at Great River Medical Center. Born September 4, 1967 in Burlington, he was the son of LeRoy Baker and Roberta Hopson. On March 15, 2008 he married Kimberly Laughlin in Burlington. Mr. Wilkerson attended Burlington High School. He was an Army veteran serving in Germany. He worked for Deery Brothers, Domino's and Century 21. Mr. Wilkerson was a member of Church of the Open Bible. He enjoyed hanging out with his children and family, golfing and was a Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Wilkerson of Burlington; one daughter, Lillian Grace Wilkerson at home; three sons, Caleb Christian Wilkerson of Burlington, Alex Justin Wilkerson of Nevada, Texas and Andrew Jacob Wilkerson of Afghanistan; his father, LeRoy Baker of Burlington; mother, Roberta Smith of Burlington; one sister, Angie Wilkerson; and nieces and nephews. His grandparents, two uncles and one aunt preceded him in death. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. today in Lunning Chapel.
