A Time To Be Born: Ms. Effie Lee Marshall, the daughter of the late Carrie Luvenia Peggy Lucindy Gentse Malendy Mary anne Manervy Nancy anne Lugeny Annie Boseman Stewart Penn and the late Willie Joe Penn, was born September 11, 1911 in Cusseta, Al. Effie departed this life on Friday, October 29, 2010 at her residence. A Time To Live: "Ma Effie", as she was known to many, accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with the Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She was a faithful member of the choir. A Time To Learn and Work: Effie attended school in Cusseta, AL. She loved taking care of children, fixing puzzles, sewing and crocheting quilts and blankets. She also loved her flowers and garden. She also loved canning and jelling fruit. A Time To Die: She was preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Lee Marshall, one brother Tommy Lee Penn, and three sisters, Mary Alice Gilbert , Carrie Mae Todd-White, Rosie Robinson. A Time To Mourn: She leaves to cherish her memories, four daughters, Hattie P. Marshall, Ethel L. Andrews, Lula F.
