Patrick Dean Brockett MAQUOKETA, Iowa - Patrick Dean Brockett, 58, of Maquoketa, died Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Crestridge Inc., Care Center, Maquoketa. Graveside Service will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2010, at the Letts Cemetery. The Rev. Bruce McNeely will officiate. After the committal there will be a time of refreshments and fellowship for friends and family at his sister, Cathy Bewley's home in Atalissa. His request for cremation was officiated by the Life Transition and Cremation Center in Muscatine, and there will be no visitation. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in his name. Patrick was born on April 16, 1951, in Muscatine, the son of Richard W. Brockett and Wynnonia E. Blake. He loved listening to music, fishing and animals, especially his dogs. He is survived by two sisters, Cathy Bewley and husband, Mike, of Atalissa and Jewell Vogt and fianc�'©, Tim, of Letts; a half brother, Richard Brockett and wife, Sue, of Florida; several half-brothers and stepbrothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews.
