Aaron Joseph Grenat

Aaron Joseph Grenat of Austin, Texas died Monday, September 27, 2021. He was born on February 27, 1975 to Stephen and Barbara (Stanley) Grenat in Danville, Illinois. Aaron attended Harrison High School in West Lafayette, Indiana, graduating in 1993. In high school he was a member of the National Honor Society and participated in debate and football. Upon graduation from high school Aaron enrolled in Purdue University in the School of Electrical Engineering Technology. He participated in the co-op program, a program that allowed him to begin working at Advanced Micro Devices in Austin, Texas every other semester. He graduated with honors from Purdue in 1999. While at Purdue, he met his wife, Kristy Koepke and they were married in 2000. After graduation from Purdue, he moved to Austin, Texas where he officially began his career as an electrical engineer for Advanced Micro Devices. While there, he was given and awarded several promotions and earned several patents. Surviving are his wife Kristy Koepke Grenat and his three daughters Rory, Leia, and Norah; his parents Steve and Barb Grenat of Wimberley, Texas; his brother Ben Grenat of Quincy, Florida.
