nal where he graduated from machinist school. He spent 39 years at the Arsenal before retiring. John loved stock cars and drove car No. 66. Later he helped build a kit car (No. 60) with driver Jack Hall. His idol was Richard Petty. He also loved dancing and going to Hawaii. His biggest love was his family. John is survived by his wife; three daughters, Cynthia Fisher of Galesburg, Vicki Dumbauld and husband, Steve, of Bettendorf and Kim Van Est and husband, Tom, of Fruitland; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, William Noble and wife, Jo Ann, of Bluff City, Tennessee, and James Noble and wife, Mary, of Muscatine; and a sister, Betty Holtz and husband, Gary, of Fairborn, Ohio. John was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.
