Jerry Reichert MUSCATINE, Iowa - Jerry Gale Reichert, 68, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2011, at the Bettendorf Health Care Center. Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Casket bearers will be Keith Brown, Don Brown, Danny Reichert, J.R. Reichert, Kevin Reichert, Jeff Reichert, Darren Reichert, Bud VanWinkle and Gary Reichert. Honorary bearers will be Bob Webb and Steve Reichert. Following the services at the funeral home, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Community Room. Burial will take place at 3 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2011, at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous in memory of Jerry. Jerry was born on November 14, 1942, in Muscatine, the son of Oliver A. and Wilma F. Fischer Reichert. He will be deeply missed by his four sisters, Vera Webb of Muscatine, Loretta Drawbaugh of Muscatine, Pauline Webb of Muscatine, and Sandy VanWinkle and husband, Howard, of Bettendorf; a brother, Paul Reichert and wife, Jaci, of Muscatine; and many, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and caretakers. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Oliver Jr. ''Buddy,'' Richard ''Dick,'' Robert ''Bob,'' Ronald ''Ronnie'' and Jackie ''Jack''; and his sisters, Gertrude ''Gert'', Jean, Donna and Patricia ''Pat.''
