Beth Ann Hetzler MUSCATINE, Iowa - Beth Ann Hetzler, 65, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Casket bearers will be Nathan Terwilleger, Aaron Terwilleger, Isaac Terwil-leger, Zachary Terwilleger, Bill Simon, Mitch Wachs, Karl Terwilleger and Nathan Rachwitz. Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at the Blue Springs Cemetery in Blue Springs, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Beth. Beth Ann Terwilleger was born on January 30, 1946, in Beatrice, Nebraska, the daughter of Guy S. and Evelyn Aldrich Terwilleger. She received her master's degree in secondary education from NW Missouri State. She married Larry Hetzler of Muscatine on August 16, 1975, at the Cedar Valley United Methodist Church in rural Atalissa. ol Systems. She was recognized by her students for the Carver Excellence in Education Award several times and was an advocate of Upward Bound and AP Students. She was president of Melon Patchers Quilting Guild, a Master Gardener intern, and belonged to the Keystone Federated Women's Club and the local, state and National Education Association. Beth was an avid reader who enjoyed traveling, quilting, making charity quilts and making Christmas stockings for soldiers. Beth is survived by her husband, Larry Hetzler of Muscatine; three brothers, Bob Terwilleger and wife, Carol, of Castle Rock, Colorado, Sam Terwilleger and wife, Julia, of Dubuque, and Jim Terwilleger and wife, Lois, of Beatrice, Nebraska; a sister, Sarah Soularue and husband, Olivier, of France; a sister-in-law, Janice Wachs and husband, Denny, of West Liberty, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
