DENNIS DONALD MUSCATINE, Iowa - Dennis T. Donald, 67, of Muscatine, died on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Trinity Hospital in Muscatine. Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Columbus City Cemetery. Honorary bearers will be Tory Ball, Kristopher Ball, Rory Ball II, Danny Albert, Harry Vernon, and Dave Paul. Following the committal service, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Muscatine Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2904 Mulberry Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Diana Donald. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Dennis was born on February 7, 1944, in Miles City, Montana, the son of George 'Jinks' and Barbara Harris Donald. On September 17, 1990, he was united in marriage to Diana Jarr. Dennis was employed at Weidemann Industries in Muscatine for 27 years. He then spent the next 15 years as an over-the-road truck driver until his retirement in April of 2010. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Diana Donald of Muscatine; two daughters, Keily Donald of Muscatine, and Vanessa Marsh and husband, Tony, of Kokamo, Indiana; one son, Kirk Donald and wife, Colleen, of Garden Valley, Idaho; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jeffie Fowler and husband, Lester, of Boonesville, Arkansas, and Katie Dalton and husband, Anthony, of Billingsley, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Evelyn Ball; and one brother, Laird Donald.
