It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Robert Salinas Jr., 70, of Austin, Texas, was called home to our heavenly father on October 25th, 2021 after a long, hard fought battle of Diabetes and Pulmonary Fibrosis. Robert loved his family and friends and will be missed by so many. Robert was born to, Robert Salinas Sr. and Margarita Rivera Salinas on December 4, 1950, in Snyder, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Angelita Rodriguez, his Brother Eugene Salinas, Sister Delia Martinez both of Crane, Sister Rosa Juarez of Buda & Sister Diane Garcia of Bastrop. His Stepchildren Richard Ochoa and Wife Rebecca Ochoa, Sylvia Ochoa and Partner Phillip Rocha, Evette Torres and Husband Billy Torres, Laura Ochoa and Husband Wayne Jaime. Grandchildren Tony Tijerina and Wife Clorissa Tijerina, Jennifer Ochoa, Marcus Alcala, April Tijerina, Ray DeLeon, Samantha Gonzalez and Partner Joe Barrera, Letty Cabral, & Matthew Torres. Great Grandchildren Anthony Tijerina, Aubrey Tijerina, Sofia Delarosa, Alivia Tijerina, Jaxon Barrera, Jayden Barrera and Jayla Barrera as well as fourteen nieces and nephews. on 4435 Frontier Trail Austin, TX 78745. The viewing will be from 8am-11am. Service will be from 11am- 12pm and we will be leaving the funeral home at 12pm for the burial at Assumption Chapel Mausoleum & Cemetery. We would like to give a special thank you to our pallbearers Brion Marquez (Nephew), David Marquez (Nephew), Wayne Jaime (Son in Law), Billy Torres (Son in Law), Joe Barrera, Samantha Gonzalez (Granddaughter), and Jaxon Barrera (Great Grandson).
