John R Bremer

John R. Bremer, 87 of Doylestown PA, died Friday in the Philadelphia Protestant Home Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John and Margaret Bremer. Mr. Bremer was preceded in death by his wife Doris C. (nee Mosebach) Bremer in 1997. He served in the US Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945 flying 35 missions in a B24 in the Rome, Northern and Southern France, Rhineland and Balkans campaigns he was awarded the Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters and the European Service medal with 7 Bronze Stars. He was a Purchasing Agent, employed by SKF Industries in Philadelphia for 38 years and Delbar Manufacturing in Perkasie for 11 years prior to his retirement in 1988. Mr. Bremer was a Volunteer at Doylestown Hospital for 22 years. He is survived by his children Christopher J. Bremer and his wife Catherine of Quakertown, PA and Linda S. Kulenburg and her husband William of Littleton, CO he is also survived by his grandchildren Shannon & Kevin Bremer and Katie Gazzaway, Great Grand Children Kiersten and Morgan and brother Robert M.
