Wayne A. Stokes

Wayne A. Stokes, 22 died unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009 at his parents' home in Lansdale, PA. Born in Abington, PA, he was the son of Scott H. and Ellen S. (nee Geiss) Stokes of Lansdale. Wayne was a graduate of North Penn High School Class of 2005 and attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. He was a Pa. Licensed Pest Control operator for Swat Pest Control in Chalfont. Mr. Stokes was a member of Gwynedd Valley Sportsman Club and the NRA. He loved music and played guitar and worked as a promoter. In addition to his Parents he is survived by his brother Harry L. Stokes of Lansdale, his Paternal Grandmother Ruth R. (the Late Harry) Stokes of Harleysville, and maternal grandmother Helene (the Late Melvin) Geiss of Dresher. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler and Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Ambler Church of the Brethren with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Brandon Grady officiating.
