Charles T. Dolan

Charles T. Dolan, 92 of Jenkintown and formerly of Cheltenham died on May 11, 2010 in his home. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Thomas and Rose (nee Bertsch) Dolan. Mr. Dolan was a member of St. Hilary's Church in Rydal and a member of St. Joseph's Church in Cheltenham's where he belonged to their senior's Group. He served in the United States Army from 1942 to 1945 as a Staff Sergeant. He was employed as a Mailer for the newspaper and magazine publishing for Cuneo Eastern Press and Gannon Publishing prior to his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy M. (nee Hammill) Dolan and devoted children Patricia A. Hawthorne and husband John of Lansdale, Charles T. Dolan, Jr. and wife Gloria of Arnold, MD, Lawrence M. Dolan and wife Sue of Oreland, Maureen Hummel and husband Charles of Cheltenham and Dennis P. Lynch and wife Mary Rose of Fort Washington. He is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call after 9:00 AM Monday, May 17, 2010 at St. Joseph Church Waters and Boncouer Rds., Cheltenham. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
