Mary Elaine Quinn, 86, formerly of Bancroft, IA, died on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE. The former Mary Elaine Fangman, was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charley Quinn on May 19, 2007; her parents, George & Mary (Lensing) Fangman; brother Melvin Fangman of Bancroft, IA; and three sisters Agnes Vaske and Anna Fangman of Bancroft, IA, and Veronica Knecht of Elma, IA. Mary Elaine is survived by her five children, Bridget Lynch of Omaha, NE, Erwin (JoAnn) Quinn of Kansas City, MO, Colleen (Val) Madia of Omaha, NE, John (Betty) Quinn of Catlett, VA, and Carmel (Steve) Earl of Blair, NE; her 8 grandchildren, Dan Lynch, Erin Lynch, Mike Lynch, Dave Shaw, Sherry Heinitz, Jeff Shaw, Kristy Winter, and Kari Reighard; and her 12 great-grandchildren, Connor Lynch, Drew Shaw, Kaylee Shaw, Neal Lynch, Quinn Shaw, Dylan Winter, Bella Winter, Jillyan Lynch, Colin Heinitz, Elaina Heinitz, Abby Reighard, and Liam Reighard. After raising their family, she was employed at the Bancroft Heritage Home for many years. Funeral services will be at Tuesday, July 5 at 10:30 AM at St. John Catholic Church in Bancroft, IA. Visitation will begin at 9 AM Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
