Marie "Dolly" McBride

Marie R. "Dolly" McBride, of Maple Glen PA, died Saturday in the Abington Memorial Hospital Abington, PA. after an illness. Born in Ambler, PA., she was the daughter of the late Nichola and Catherine (nee Varrese) De Sando. Mrs. McBride was a graduate of Ambler High School Class of 1942. Dolly worked as the Office Manager at Franklin Communications for 10 years and as an Administrative Assistant at AMX for 10 years. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Maple Glen She is survived by her beloved Husband Leonard J. McBride and her devoted daughter Deborah A. Franklin of Horsham. She is the loving sister of Catherine A. (Joseph) Varhelyi and Eleanor M. Deon (the late Daniel) both of Ambler Relatives and Friends may call Thursday July 7, 2011 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM in St. Alphonsus Church1563 Temple Dr. Maple Glen with the Rev. John Paul as Celebrant. Interment will be Private.
