ings that kept Grandpa Harold laughing. He shared many fond memories and funny stories from time spent there. A "people person" is how to best describe Harold. It would seem to some that he knew EVERYONE. Whether he knew you by name or not, Harold wouldn't hesitate to say hello and strike up a conversation. He had a great sense of humor and a genuinely good heart. These are the things we loved and will miss the most! He is survived by his wife Bonnie Cluney of Hartsville, SC; two daughters, Lisa (Sean) Spears and Nancy (Chris) Creagan both of Roanoke, VA; one son, Tom (Denise) Cluney of Hartsville, SC; eight grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Cluney of Danville, Eugene Cluney of Pleasant Hill, IA, and Paul Cluney of Danville; and one sister, Leona Pitts of Middletown. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Greg and Tim Cluney, and three brothers, Lloyd, Harley and Leroy Cluney. The funeral services for Mr. Harold Cluney will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9th at First Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Don Crawford and Rev. Norman Wenig will officiate. Interment will be in Long Creek Cemetery, rural Danville. The Burlington Area Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military rites. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 8th in Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
