Rick Manning

Rick Manning, 43 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 4, 1978 in Spencer, Iowa to Linda Sheley and Mike Manning. Rick graduated from Spencer High School and attended Iowa Lakes Community College for diesel mechanics. Rick spent his early years working on the family farm with his dad, which was his passion since a young boy. Among his many talents, Rick made great round bails and would travel the Midwest working with farmers during bailing season. Rick decided to move to sunny Arizona where he pursued a career buying and selling cars & trucks. Those who knew Rick, Ricky or "Tardo" (his sister's nickname for him), felt his infectious charm, whit and unconditional love. He had a contagious laugh and his beaming smile would always brighten up a room. Rick was a loving and loyal friend. He was full of life, loved farming, cars & trucks, his family, his Fuzzy Puppy and Friends! Rick will be missed by all who knew him and will vibrantly live in our hearts and memories.
