ROBERT BRUGMAN MUSCATINE, Iowa - Robert Maynard Brugman, 47, Muscatine, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at his home in Muscatine. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 28, Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, funeral home. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Ryan Parsons, Randy Wetzel Jr., Randy Wetzel Sr., Terry Cole Jr., Terry Cole Sr. and Jake Phelps. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Robert's name. Robert Maynard Brugman was born on January 16, 1964, in Muscatine, the son of Maynard Robert and Linda Lou (Wetzel) Brugman. In January 2003 Robert was united in marriage to Kathy Tennell Bryant in Muscatine. They later divorced. Robert enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting and golfing. He also was an avid Duke fan and watcher and enjoyed spending time with family and cousins. Robert will be deeply missed by his parents; Maynard and Linda Brugman of Muscatine; his sister, Lisa Parsons and husband, Merlin of Muscatine; his nephew, Ryan Parsons of Muscatine; and several cousins.
