Phyllis Marvin

Phyllis E. Marvin, of the Town of Harrison, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center. She was 79 years old. She was born on November 12, 1931 in Antigo, a daughter of Albert and Myrtle (Skidmore) Smith. She married Jerome Marvin on January 21, 1950 in Crandon. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1966. She graduated from Antigo High School in 1949. Mrs. Marvin worked as a waitress at Uneeda Lunch for many years and was employed at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center in Housekeeping and Laundry for 22 years, retiring in 1996. She was a volunteer at C.A.R. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, crocheting and watching the Green Bay Packers. She was a member of SS Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church its rosary society and served on the funeral dinner committee. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Dave Schmidt officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:30-7:30 p.m. on Sunday and 9-10 a.m. on Monday at the Bradley Funeral Home. A parish wake service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday and the rosary society wake service will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
