Marshall-Merrick, Lee W. age 92, of Medina Township, died on Friday, August 5, 2011 peacefully in his beloved home after a brief illness. He was born January 13, 1919 in Greene, New York to Stanley & Florence (Woodman) Merrick. He had two older brother who preceded him in death and two sisters who survive him, Esther Duncan, Watertown and Eleanor Tobias, Medina. He was the youngest child of a farming family in northern Illinois. He was the founder and owner of Marshall Stock Removal, 1968, Karem, Inc and opened Little A-Merrick-A in 1991. Besides his sisters, he is survived by his two son, Roger (Bunny) Merrick, Redgranite and Garth (Susie) Merrick, Amarillo, TX; his daughter, Jorja Merrick, Lake Dallas, TX; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie from 4-7:00 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 2-4:00 p.m. at the Pavilion at Little A-Merrick-A, Marshall, to reminisce and share stories with each other.
