. Kirsten learned to play bari and alto saxophone, flute and was working on guitar. Kirsten had a passion for cooking and was always in the kitchen helping and learning to prepare meals. In her senior year at Spring Ridge Academy, she volunteered in their commercial kitchen and that started her on a career path where she worked her way up in the food industry from server to sous chef while attending college. Kirsten had a passion for traveling. She spent her first 4 years in Saudi Arabia before moving to Austin. She boarded her first flight at 5 weeks old and had been on over 100 flights by the time she settled in Austin. She traveled to destinations such as Dubai, Sharjah, Nepal, Thailand, The Netherlands, the UK, Cyprus, Italy, France, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Bahrain and all over the USA. Her most memorable childhood trips were trekking in Nepal, visiting Disney World, her Church Youth Group Ski Trips and summer road tripping around the US. We are so proud of Kirsten. She was independent, fearless and hardworking. She was a natural born leader. She loved fiercely and protected those she loved.
