Emily Anne Schippers, age 33, of Des Moines, IA passed away on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Otley Church. Visitation will take place also on Monday from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at the church. Private family burial will take place at Silent City Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com Emily was born on July 24th, 1988, to Mike and Sandy Schippers in Pella, IA. She was baptized at Otley Church. Emily graduated from PCM High School in Monroe, IA and furthered her education at University of Northern Iowa where she received a Masters in Accounting. In Emily's professional life she enjoyed her work as a CPA. Besides spending time with her devoted dog Molly, Emily loved flower gardening, landscaping, and playing with her beloved nephews and niece.
