Patricia C. Bedwell

Patricia Carolyn (Gray) Bedwell, 87, of Elmwood, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 6:38 a.m., at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on September 27, 1934, to Otho Gray and Margaret (Downey) Elliott, Nortonville, KY. She then went on to marry Gordon Bedwell, and they had three children; Christi (the late Denny) Herold of Wyoming, IL, Dennis Bedwell, and Stacy (PJ) Adair of Peoria. She is preceded in death by her father; her mother; her only sister, Corrine Blake; her son, Dennis Bedwell; and her grandson, Ray Bedwell. She is survived by her daughters, Christi and Stacy; her significant other, Shorty Davis; and her grandchildren, Amy (David) VanRiel, Kelsey Adair, Sarah (Jesse) Peterson, Jason Marliere, and Jeremy West; and twelve great-grandchildren. Patricia, better known as Pat, loved hard and bigger than the moon and past the stars. She had a deep love for her people and ALL animals. She was a woman stronger than most and loved nothing more than sipping on a Pepsi, barefoot in her shady backyard on a beautiful summer day.
