Raymond Lee Schnedler BURLINGTON, Iowa--Raymond Lee Schnedler, 64, of Burlington, died on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at his home in Burlington. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2011, at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home. Pastor Kendall Adams will be officiating. Burial will take place in Kossuth Cemetery. Full military honors will be rendered by the Burlington Area Veterans Honor Guard. A time of food and fellowship will be held at the Hass-Thielen community room following the interment. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2011, at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. A memorial has been established for Great River Hospice. Raymond was born on February 11, 1947, in Nevada, Missouri, the son of Frank Edward and Vera Irving Schnedler. On March 14, 1970, he married Karen Ann Boyd in Oquawka, Illinois. He was of the Baptist faith.
