Charles Ernest Conant

Charles E. Conant Charles "Chuck" Conant, of Little Kohler, passed away in the evening hours of Thursday, September 22, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee. He was 70 years old. Chuck was born in Black River Falls on June 1, 1941, son of Charles E. Conant Sr. and Ella Johnson Conant. On April 18, 1964 he married Sandra Jacobs at Mother of Perpetual Help in Milwaukee. Chuck worked at AO Smith for 32 years as a Quality Control Operator. After retiring, he worked part time at Portal Industries. He was a member of Holy Rosary Parish in Fredonia, and enjoyed wood carving, photography, and reading. Chuck is survived by his wife Sandra of Little Kohler, four children; Scott (Annette) Conant of Manitowoc, Kevin (Kari) Conant of Clearwater, FL, Heather (Timothy) Koller and Jennifer (Jamie) Konicek both of Little Kohler. f Little Kohler, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Mildred and Shirley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 28th at 11 AM at Holy Rosary Parish, St. Mary's Chapel in Little Kohler with Father Dick Fleischman officiating. He will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27th at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave in Port Washington from 4-7 PM at again on Wednesday the 28th at the CHURCH from 10-11 AM.
