Thomas E. Stewart was a native of Phoenix, Arizona, born on October 24, 1949. He loved his country and was proud and honored to have served in the United States Army as a Vietnam veteran.
Tom was raised in the Catholic faith and was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. His faith, family, and nature were extremely important to him. He loved physical activity and challenging himself, beginning most mornings hiking in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. He enjoyed the self-discipline and training required to successfully compete in many triathlons across the country. Tom was funny and smart, with a unique way of seeing things for what they could be, taking pride in his work as a land developer. He loved motorsports, football, baseball, and basketball. He loved music and had very eclectic taste, including jazz, bluegrass, country, and rock, to name a few. He particularly enjoyed Kenny Chesney and No Shoes Radio.
