Michael Joseph Lasicka

Michael (Mike) Joseph Lasicka, 64, passed to eternal life on February 25, 2022. He was born in Phoenix, AZ to Edward and Eugenia Lasicka on February 1, 1958. In 1963, the family moved to California, where Mike spent majority of his childhood and growing years. Mike was always passionate about sports. As a kid, Mike was a great Little League baseball player until he broke his nose. As a young adult, he loved motorbikes and enjoyed stunt riding. In 1978, Mike joined and served in the Navy for several years, where he was recognized for his superior leadership and professionalism. Mike was also commended for his initiative and dedication to duty, as well as his accomplishments in training junior personnel, space maintenance, and preservation which were instrumental in keeping the naval engineering plant in the highest state of readiness. Mike was a wonderful, loving husband and a great chef, who was well known for his amazing pastries and baked treats. Mike is survived by his wife, Leny, siblings, nephews, and nieces. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. [more]
