w inspirational and funny he was, even with the challenges he faced. Sadly, drugs continued to eat away at him and deeply affected his life path. Regardless, we remain proud of Tim. He was a devoted son and regularly told us how much he loved growing up in our family. We kissed and hugged often. Tall, blue eyed and blond haired, Tim made friends wherever he went. He had the opportunity to travel to the Ukraine, France, Italy, Amsterdam, London and Mexico. While growing up, our family would rent houses on the beach with our neighbors in Rocky Point and the kids would entertain each other all day. Tim loved visiting Coronado Island with his maternal grandparents, Norine and Tom Hannah. He could spend all day on the beach. His paternal grandmother, Marion DeGraw, always said Tim and his sister Anne were the joy of her life. She never believed she would become a grandmother and reveled in it. Tim and his two older brothers, James and Matt Harmon, often tormented their youngest sister, Anne DeGraw. Together, they helped her develop a strong personality while creating a great sense of humor in them all. Regardless of his own issues, Tim cared deeply about others, especially for those unable to care for themselves. While often close to broke himself, Tim would give his last dollar to someone whom he thought needed it more. Tim's death creates a void in our hearts and leaves empty a space that he should have filled in our world--but he struggled to find enough peace to stay here among us. It is our hope that Tim can now find that elusive peace and know that he is forever loved and missed by many. If your heart is as large as Tim's, please contribute to the charity of your choice in his memory or perhaps, give of yourself the next time you see an individual in need.
