Michael A. Fosler

Michael A. Fosler, aged 56, of Blackwood, New Jersey, passed away at home on March 16th, 2022. Mike was born on February 26th in Virginia, the son of a military family. He was the son of Lawrence and Ruth Fosler and was preceded in death by his father Lawrence. He is survived by his mother Ruth, His daughters Melissa (David) Viergutz, Cassandra Fosler, and Sarena Fosler as well as granddaughters Ava and Charlotte Viergutz. He is also survived by brothers John and Chris Fosler. He had many friends and made friends easily. He was easy to talk to and struck up a conversation with anybody he met. Mike was a Veteran who served two tours of duty in the Army. After leaving the Army, Mike became a police officer. He also worked some time as an EMT and had a passion for helping people. He went to college studying Law and Psychology. He spoke fondly of his military service and career in law enforcement. He was also involved in the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed reading, board games, and he had a great sense of humor. He loved animals, especially his dog Luna!
