George H. O'Donnell Sr.

George H. O'Donnell Jr. Canton - George H. O'Donnell Jr., 94, of Canton, passed away, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born on July 20, 1927, in Cuba, to George H. O'Donnell Sr. and Marjorie R. (Landis). They preceded him in death along with two sons, Thomas Weaver and Jack R. Weaver Jr. He married Donna J. (Wilson) O'Donnell on December 24, 1963. She also preceded him in death on September 2, 2012. Surviving is one daughter, Rhonda Gallinger, five grandchildren, Jerah (Jarrod) Sheets, Kyle (Tressy Parker) Gallinger, Jennifer Weaver, Michelle (Neil) Cowan, and Patrick (Laura) Weaver, ten great grandchildren, Jasper, Iris, Violet, Ivy, Abigayle, Clara, Thomas, Declan, Michael (Oliver), and Charlie, and two daughters in laws Lori (John Hill) Weaver and Ellin (Michael) Lotspeich. George is a veteran of the United States Army. He served in World War II in occupied Japan. He was a member of the former St. Peter's Episcopalian Church in Canton; the Fulton County Ham Radio Club and he was a past director of the Canton ESDA.
