Marilyn Rutherford

Marilyn Rutherford has born on November 08, 1940, outside of Woodward IA on a farm. She was the daughter of David and Magdalene Miller Newland. Marilyn had several siblings who were Jean Brown and Beverly Story who proceeded her is death, plus Nancy Soto, David Newland (Sonny), Janice Oshiro, Ronald Newland, Katherine Zeigler, James Newland and Rosie Hollingworth. Marilyn had 5 children of her own, Rodney Courtney, Richard Courtney, Roxanne Diggs, Rhonda Courtney, Donna Richards along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marilyn worked at the Riverview Nursing Home behind Lutheran Hospital for 25 years as a Nurses Aid up until she was 72 years old. When she retired from Riverview, she was looked forward to relaxing and spending time watching TV and doing her "Word Search" puzzle book. At this time, there is not a Celebration of Life planned due to the family has several members that are up in age and a few are battling illness themselves. Therefore, we will be waiting at least 6 months to let everyone recover and get back together to plan a Celebration of Life for Marilyn Rutherford, my mother at a later date. [more]
