Jeanne D. Rogers

On June 22, 2022, Jeanne Dolores Killion Rogers went to heaven to the joyous reception of all her ancestors. Her mother, Matilda Battle Hutch, her father Robert Killion, her second born son Donald Beck, grandson Donald Beck Jr., and they are no doubt still celebrating her arrival. Jeanne leaves four children in this earthly realm to commemorate her departure: Ronald (Sadie) Beck, Ann Beck, Keith Rogers, and Carol Rogers, daughter-in-law Elenna Beck (widow of Donald) and their respective progeny. Jeanne Rogers was a retired Educator and Administrator for the Omaha Public School system. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She was employed as an Elementary Classroom Teacher, Elementary and Junior High School Music Teacher, and Elementary School Principal for the Omaha Public Schools. She also served as Minority Recruiter for the College of Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
